Cost per place is not a universal market price
Small shelters can show a higher cost per person because fixed items such as doors, ventilation, electrical systems, logistics and installation are spread across fewer places. A lower unit figure does not automatically mean a better or more complete solution.
Cost per m² only works with the same area definition
Do not compare the structural footprint of one offer with the complete project area of another. Entrances, technical spaces, sanitary rooms and other areas can be included differently across project documents and supplier offers.
